About the role
They now seek the services and expertise of a talented Account Manager/BDM to enhance its strategic position within the print and signage industries based in the west and northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Working with some of the best in the business, you will:
- Become an integral part of the business through selling some of the best-known brands in our industry and working across a range of exceptionally managed client businesses.
- Be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and inactive customers and prospects.
- Develop and deliver persuasive proposals to existing and prospective clients.
- Drive effective communications with internal and external stakeholders to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Follow up on opportunities and close sales whilst experiencing the personal and professional growth that comes with it.
- Effectively and efficiently manage systems and procedures to monitor, control and communicate performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of market conditions and the company’s products and services
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- You’re an ambitious, outgoing, and people-oriented salesperson with exceptional interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- You have a strong track record of solution selling in a similar client facing role, Signage sales experience would be ideal but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude are a must, so your ability to build strong relationships and establish rapport is second to none.
- Client focused and a real team player, you have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- You’re excellent at managing your own time and a real self-starter; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
- You work well in a team – we recognise that staff are our greatest asset and maintaining a positive working environment is non-negotiable.
- You have full Australian working rights as sponsorship will not be offered for this role.
