About the role
A very rare opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional to join their vibrant and highly motivated Australian sales team based here in Melbourne.

In this dynamic, fast paced, challenging and very much “hands on” role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the major retailers such as Coles, Woolworths, Costco and other retail Hardware accounts such as Mitre 10 and the Danks group to name few. Working very closely with the General Manager, you will possess an intimate understanding of each customer’s goals, focus areas and processes which enables you to build plans that align with your customers thus ensuring the best possible outcomes for you and your customers.

Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you must possess the following key attributes:

• Previous sales experience within the Retail and Retail Hardware industry 
• An ability to build rapport quickly with people across all levels of business.
• Be very “hands on” in your approach to your account management.
• Good financial acumen with an ability to broker win/win outcomes.
• An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills
• Be a team player at all times.
• Sound computer literacy (Excel and PowerPoint)
• A relevant Tertiary qualification preferred but not necessary.
