About the role
Due to their continued success and growth, an experienced Counter Sales / Customer Service Representative is now required for their Newcastle Branch.
In this dynamic, challenging and highly pivotal role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting customers both over the phone and at the trade counter desk
- Inputting sales orders
- Answering incoming pricing and delivery queries
- Providing quotes to customers over the phone
- Coordinating and distributing picking slips to the warehouse staff.
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Previous counter sales / customer service experience within the industrial industry
- An appreciation or basic understanding of bearings, power transmissions, hydraulics and other industrial products etc.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
