About the role
A need has arisen for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their small but happy team based in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
In this dynamic, challenging and highly pivotal role you will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming enquiries regarding stock availability, deliveries, and pricing
- Providing quotes to customers via phone or email
- Inputting sales orders
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
- Analysis of stock availability using system reports.
- Maintenance of customer information regarding orders held in the system
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Previous customer service / internal sales experience ideally within the industrial products industry
- An appreciation or basic understanding of bearings, chain, conveyors, power transmissions and other industrial products etc.
- Ability to handle pricing queries
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
- Above average computer literacy with excellent attention to detail
