About the role
A need has arisen for an experienced Customer Service / Counter Sales Representative to join their small but happy team based in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
In this dynamic, challenging and highly pivotal role you will be responsible for:
- Serving customers over the counter
- Answering incoming enquiries regarding stock availability, deliveries and pricing
- Providing quotes to customers via phone or email
- Making a couple of outbound calls a day to existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
- Inputting sales orders
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure customer delivery expectations are met
- Analysis of stock availability using system reports.
- Maintenance of customer information regarding orders held in the system
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
- Previous customer service / counter sales experience within the signwriting, print or labels industry
- Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills
- Above average computer literacy with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and honest and is someone that can own their mistakes
- Be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile
