Front End Developer – E-commerce Focus
About the role
Join a collaborative and innovative team as a Front End Developer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving digital growth for a rapidly growing e-commerce platform. Your duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building and optimizing Shopify stores, focusing on front-end and some back-end development.
- Developing and maintaining front-end applications using React, Next.js, and other modern frameworks.
- Creating robust back-end systems with Node.js, Python, and SQL databases.
- Implementing cutting-edge features, such as AI-powered product recommendations and personalized shopping experiences.
- Managing integrations within Shopify’s ecosystem to enhance website performance, user experience, and conversions.
- Working closely with designers, product managers, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life.
- Troubleshooting and debugging systems to ensure seamless operation and scalability.
- Utilizing Agile or Scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality projects.

Experience and qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Front End Developer, with a focus on e-commerce solutions.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Python).
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid, theme development, HTML, CSS, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
