About the Role

They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. You will play a crucial role in driving business growth, ensuring brand consistency, and providing outstanding service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective territory sales strategies.
  • Review and optimize sales channels within the territory.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and proprietors, ensuring a minimum of four visits per year.
  • Foster productive and professional relationships with sales personnel across the customer base by delivering the Company’s experience at all times.
  • Manage key accounts within the territory, ensuring a structured and functional call cycle with at least monthly visits.
  • Negotiate and close agreements in collaboration with the State and/or National Sales Manager.
  • Utilize CRM data to enhance account performance.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product developments, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Conduct market research to identify new potential customers and opportunities.
  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Deliver at least two training sessions per year for key accounts.
  • Occasionally attend in-store events as required.
  • Present new product opportunities to accounts.
  • Assist with monthly stocktake and reporting (NSW and TAS only).
  • Undertake additional activities as directed by the State or National Sales Manager.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a sales role.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of the sales environment.
  • Experience with sales performance metrics and CRM tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
  • Relevant sales training or equivalent experience.
Performance Goals
  • Achieve annual territory sales budget.
  • Ensure key accounts are visited at least once per month.
  • Conduct training sessions for key accounts.
  • Update CRM data daily.
  • Maintain high levels of retail customer satisfaction.
