- Ensuring that our systems are fit for purpose, well architected and follow the current development best practices.
- Oversee the maintenance of system integrity to ensure security, efficiency, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.

- Develop technical and leadership skills within the team through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Engage with stakeholders to effectively communicate technical insights and their business implications to aid in strategic decision-making.

- Manage the balance between rapid delivery and the sustainable development of our codebases.
- Participate in shared operational support responsibilities.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial TypeScript development.
- A minimum of 5 years of overall software development experience.
- Extensive expertise with the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Node.js, React.js, and Jest for unit testing.
- Strong proficiency in building user interfaces with React, combined with a solid understanding of UX/CX principles to deliver intuitive and customer-focused design solutions.
- Deep expertise in NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, with proven skills in database management and performance optimization.
- Committed to secure coding practices and proactive in identifying and mitigating security risks.
- Dedicated to maintaining best coding practices, emphasizing clean, testable code, and fostering effective collaboration through pair programming.
- Proven ability to design, construct, and architect RESTful APIs, with a strong grasp of API development standards, security protocols, and integration strategies.
- Hands-on experience working with large enterprise databases, showcasing the ability to handle complex data systems.
