About the role

As they are always looking to grow by targeting new markets, a need has arisen for an experienced sales professional to target the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector.
In this pivotal role you will be responsible for:

  • Developing new business opportunities
  • Taking a leading role in the development of their Food & Beverage manufacturing business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identifying trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Involvement in the annual planning process for the development of the sales, profit, product & marketing budgets
  • Establish relationships with the customers nationally that enhance their knowledge of the market & expand their opportunities of growth
  • Participation in the development of policies & procedures that contribute to the Company’s objective for continuous improvement
  • Assisting in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
 
Skills & experience
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:
  • Previous experience selling equipment, parts or services to the Food & Beverage manufacturing sector
  • A strong business development aptitude
  • An ability to build rapport with people across all levels
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and time management skills
  • The ability to look outside the square pertaining to new product opportunities
  • Be commercially astute
  • The ability and willingness to travel
