About the Role
They now seek a motivated and results-driven New Dealer Business Development Manager
to drive the expansion of their dealer network across Australia. Reporting to the National New Business
Development Manager, this field-based role collaborates closely with the Sales Account
Management
and Retail Development
teams to execute dealer recruitment strategies and optimize their footprint growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong project management skills to make a significant impact in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalize on new dealer open points and expansion opportunities within the assigned region.
- Execute their dealer growth strategy, proactively recruiting, onboarding, and managing new dealers.
- Develop, maintain, and execute territory open point plans to align with business growth objectives.
- Attend hardware supplier shows and exhibitions to attract new dealer leads.
- Manage end-to-end new dealer onboarding, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
- Identify and convert competitor dealerships that align with their strategic direction.
- Monitor and support succession planning of existing dealerships.
- Oversee the application process for new dealerships, ensuring compliance with CRM processes.
- Drive the expansion of existing servicing dealers through additional locations or their hub and spoke model.
- Keep Sales Account Managers informed of all new dealer activity and expansion plans within their territories.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Retail Development, Finance, and IT to execute new dealer projects effectively.
- Contribute to the preparation, monitoring, and reconciliation of retail budgets.
- Support the successful integration of new dealers and ensure they achieve set KPIs and ROI.
- Education: Diploma or tertiary qualification in Business or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in Territory Management, Area Management, or B2B Business Development.
- Experience with dealer networks, franchise operations, and franchise codes.
- Strong project management experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in OneCRM/Dynamics CRM, SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
