Role Overview:
We are seeking a Board and Governance Coordinator
to lead and support corporate governance framework. The role involves managing governance processes, supporting the BAH Boards, preparing for meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to ensure effective and efficient governance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain corporate governance framework.
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.
- Ensure compliance with ACNC, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Manage director recruitment, induction, and professional development.
- Oversee board event logistics and document management.
- Ensure Workplace Health & Safety compliance.
- Corporate governance qualification (e.g., AICD, Governance Institute of Australia) or relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information and work independently.
- Experience with governance software (e.g., Diligent Board Books, SharePoint).
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours for board meetings.
